FPGA Implementation of a Chaotic Map with No Fixed Point

The employment of chaotic maps in a variety applications such as cryptosecurity, image encryption schemes, communication and secure has been made possible thanks to their properties high levels complexity, ergodicity, sensitivity the initial conditions, mainly. Of considerable interest is implementation these dynamical systems electronic devices field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) with intention experimentally reproducing dynamics, leading exploiting real phenomena. In this work, one-dimensional map that no fixed points performed on an FPGA device objective being able reproduce its behavior well possible. introduced system determined by estimating Lyapunov exponents also analyzed using bifurcation diagrams. Simulations are realized via Matlab, C very high-speed integrated circuit (VHSIC) hardware description language (VHDL). Experimental results show they like those obtained simulations; therefore, could be used element some schemes generation cryptographically pseudorandom numbers.
